2008 Pontiac G6 GT Convertible w/3.5L Occaisionally, after driving the car with the AC on, and working, you make a stop for 10-15 minutes, and when you start the car, the AC will not come on for quite a while. It seems to be more prevalent on hotter days, 85+.

On my 2007 Pontiac G6 Gt convertible, I found that a red wire in the wiring harness in the top right hand corner of the trunk, next to the hinge mechanism had come loose from the tape, and had gotten cut by the hinge mechanism. I spliced the wires, taped them back up, and secured them so they couldn't get cut again.

I recently bought a 2007 Pontiac G6 GT retractable. I had looked at two seaters and found them too small for me. I love the room in the G6 and the retractable hard top. It is much wuieter at highway spped than a ragtop. Mine is the 3.9 and is pretty much loaded. I really love to drive the car, top up or down.

But the dealership said that this is not covered under the warranty. (I wonder if it is on a Toyota?). They also said for $70 buck they could do a water test. This morning i used a rug shampooer and sucked the water out and dried the floorboards. I rinsed the car off with the water hose and left the car for a few hours.
