Oct 25, 2016 · I've played G25 irons for three years and tried the G irons earlier this year at a custom fitting session with Ping. I hit the ball roughly 3/4 yards further with each iron but, as Nessism predicted, I was more wayward with the 4 and 5 irons than my G25. In fact my dispersion was better with my current irons than the new ones.

May 16, 2021 · The G425 with the new tech are more forgiving, launch higher, and look a lot better than the G25, which were so so good. The screw in the toe is a game changer for me, because my miss is toe side. As JAM said though, that G25 iron finish is classic old school PING and it can't be beat. The G25s also feel a lot better.

May 5, 2013 · The G25 4-iron is a tiny bit longer than the other two, G10 7-iron is smallest by a lesser amount, and G25 PW is smallest, but again, not much at all. The biggest difference is maybe 1mm between any of the clubs.

Feb 24, 2013 · After my ping fitting according to my swing type,my dispersion was much tighter with the G25 and better distance compared to the other recent models of the ping drivers. My drives were long and strait ,just what I was looking for so I bought the driver and 3 wood with the Blur red 005 stiff shaft.

Nov 11, 2014 · I have the Ping G25 4 Wood. I love it. I went for an assessment at both PING and Golfsmith. The data produced by both experiences was consistent. I hit the 4 Wood about as far as the 3 Wood. The big kicker for the 4 Wood was the big improvement in the dispersion of shots. The 4 Wood really tightened up, with about equivalent distance.

Mar 7, 2014 · I recently bought a Ping G25 driver that I will cut down a fair bit. Right now I play a Acer XF Thriver at 43" and it feels pretty good but launches a bit too high due to the 14* loft. the Acer has a headweight of 210 grams and a 78 gram non counterbalanced shaft and the swingweight is around D0 according to my measurements.
