2016年10月25日 · I've played G25 irons for three years and tried the G irons earlier this year at a custom fitting session with Ping. I hit the ball roughly 3/4 yards further with each iron but, as Nessism predicted, I was more wayward with the 4 and 5 irons than my G25. In fact my dispersion was better with my current irons than the new ones.

2013年5月5日 · The G25 4-iron is a tiny bit longer than the other two, G10 7-iron is smallest by a lesser amount, and G25 PW is smallest, but again, not much at all. The biggest difference is maybe 1mm between any of the clubs.

2021年5月16日 · The G425 with the new tech are more forgiving, launch higher, and look a lot better than the G25, which were so so good. The screw in the toe is a game changer for me, because my miss is toe side. As JAM said though, that G25 iron finish is classic old school PING and it can't be beat. The G25s also feel a lot better.

2014年7月24日 · ping basically says what the differences are, g30 bigger, hotter face, and a little longer but those probably slight differences. for me, what i like about the g25 is that its a somewhat more controlled shovel than the g20/g15 so i'm going to stick with it over the changes in g30 which sound like going back towards g20/g15.

2014年8月27日 · I think Ping adjusts swingweight with hotmelt. I removed the plug on my G25 and there was hotmelt inside the head. As for the adapter, I think it's 5 grams, and counts toward the head weight. I have two G25 heads and both come in between 199 and 200 grams (w/o adapter). Ping lists the head weight at 205. 2013年1月12日 · I obviously haven't hit the G25, but when I was at PING this last fall, the PING fitter at the campus said that the G20 tends to be preferred by the harder hitter, longer ball driver that has his own low spin characteristics in his swing. The added MOI in the G20 was not a consideration at their playing level - they are all forgiving drivers.

2014年11月11日 · I have the Ping G25 4 Wood. I love it. I went for an assessment at both PING and Golfsmith. The data produced by both experiences was consistent. I hit the 4 Wood about as far as the 3 Wood. The big kicker for the 4 Wood was the big improvement in the dispersion of shots. The 4 Wood really tightened up, with about equivalent distance.

2014年5月10日 · For my game, 93mph driver speed, but I swing my irons much easier, the transition from my G25 23* hybrid to AP1 6-iron is just fine. I can grip down on the 23* hybrid if needed. G25 23* hybrid is a great club for me; I also have the G25 20*, but that is a harder club to hit. I am going to pick up the 7-wood (21*).
