2024年1月18日 · The Persian 98/29 is considered by most to be one of the finest mauser rifles ever made. From the photos you posted, that rifle looks to be in great condition. It was most likely stored on a rack, carried occasionally, and shot very little, if at all.

About 180,000 7.92X57mm (8mm Mauser) Persian Model 98/29 Mauser Rifle were manufactured by Brno in Czechslovakia between 1931 and 1938. The 29.1" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The metah has approx. 98% blue.

2/25/22 - This is an original Czech BRNO M98/29 rifle that was part of the Iranian contract order. Appears matching and original throughout, with very good bluing overall. Excellent receiver, but most of the wear on the trigger group.
