2013年9月6日 · One thing I didn't see is the number of rollers the pump head has. You should take it apart and look. If the pump head has only 2 rollers (common, as it makes the pump cheaper and take less current to run), then you have to use a check valve on the output of the pump. 2 roller pumps can back siphon if the output tube is below the water surface.

2009年3月2日 · Sounds like a parasitic disease commonly called Ich. Technically ich refers to a Freshwater parasite. The saltwater version is Cryptocaryon irritans, so your fish has Crypto..not ich. But everyone still calls it ich so we'll stick with ich for the sake of continuity

2016年9月4日 · First, the pump does not even move with 1 Amp power supplies that I have on hand. Second, when I tested it with a car battery, it is really way too noisy. I will now see if I have luck finding a little 24V DC pump like the one Cintax shared (but 24V instead of 12V). Or just spend the $39 for the Neptune PMUP 24V pump. Ouch!

2017年1月5日 · I pretty much gutted all the sponges and did some modding to put the inTank media basket and tunze 9001 skimmer in there. The tubing, however, for the pump is extremely rigid (looks like it has expanded/contracted over time) and doesn't allow the pump to sit on the bottom of the tank as it should, occasionally becoming very noisy.

2005年3月7日 · On my store purchased eductor, with the right pump the flow can be quadrupled or quintupled. This can turn a 1000gph pump into a 4000 gph pump for example. The flow is also spread out and diffused, like a tunze stream or a SEIO. An ideal pump is a pressure rated pump, but even lesser pumps will cause them to "educt".
