The PZL P.7 was a Polish gull wing monoplane fighter aircraft designed in the early 1930s at the PZL factory in Warsaw. It was the main fighter of the Polish Air Force between 1933 and 1935. The PZL P.7 was replaced in Polish service by its follow-up design, the PZL P.11c .

By early 1933, PZL.7 fighters were being introduced into service, transforming the Polish air force into the world's first with exclusively all-metal fighters. Although they were highly advanced in 1933, the 1930s was a decade of rapid advancements in aircraft technology, and PZL.7 fighters were quickly rendered out of date.

pzl p.7战斗机实际上基本就是p.6机体稍做修改，换装了更大功率风冷发动机，1932年批量投产151架，1933年全面取代pws-10战斗机，p.7战斗机是全金属结构，在服役初期是当时现代化的战斗机之一，不过到1939年战争爆发时，这种战斗机已经过时。

The PZL P.7 was the Polish fighter aircraft designed in early-1930s in the PZL factory in Warsaw. A state-of-the-art construction, one of the first all-metal monoplane fighters in the world, in 1933–1935 it was a main fighter of the Polish Air Force .

PZL (Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze - State Aviation Works) was the largest Polish aerospace manufacturer of the interwar period, and a brand of their aircraft. Based in Warsaw between 1928 and 1939, PZL introduced a variety of well-regarded aircraft, most notably the PZL P.11 fighter, the PZL.23 Karaś light bomber, and the PZL.37 Łoś medium bomber.

Samolot PZL P-7 został zaprojektowany Państwowych Zakładach Lotniczych przez inż. Zygmunta Puławskiego jako wersja rozwojowa samolotu PZL P-6 z silnikiem Bristol ”Jupiter VII F” ze sprężarką i reduktorem, który rozwijał największą moc na wysokości 2750 (wg [5]- 4000) m.

Новый истребитель получил двигатель Bristol Jupiter VII F, который развивал максимальную мощность на высоте 2750 метров. Модель истребителя был опробована в аэродинамической трубе весной 1930 года, а прототип облетан осенью того же года. Поднял в воздух его Болеслав Орлинский.
