2010年5月13日 · They were trying to see if running at PCI 3.0 speeds or running at PCI 4.0 x8 (instead of x16) made a difference, and they found only a negligible difference, a few % just like you guessed. I would think that there's no reason for the difference between PCI 5.0 x8 vs x16 to be any greater (in should be less, if anything).

2017年4月9日 · It just says the motherboard supports one PCI Express x16 graphics card that complies with the PCI Express specifications, and then it explains the IRQ assignments (no idea what they are). What I also did was I checked out some other Asus motherboards and they sometimes say PCI 2.0, but they never say PCI 1.0, so I suppose it is a 1.0 slot.

2019年11月11日 · I just solved the problem. The SATA ports that sit parallel to the motherboard (facing the right side of the the board) was the issue. I changed my SSD's port to SATA 1 and now it's running at x16 3.0 at full load. If you want to run your gpu x16 @3.0, never use these parallel SATA ports for storage.

2014年11月18日 · on the site it says that is works on pci-e 3.0 when i look on gpu-z it says that i have pci-e 1.1 x16. however it also says that my current cart the gt 8800 1.1 supports but when i look at the specs on a pc site i says it runs on 2.0. i am confused , will the r7 work or not? oh my motherboard is a MSI MS-7346 v1

2015年2月1日 · There is no name on the motherboard other than Lenovo, it is an internal cheap motherboard without any specs. Neither the manual nor the website, nor the sales know anything about which PCI Express version this slot is, 2.0 or 3.0. Device Manager also does not say what version. I have to know, whether this thing is PCI Express 2.0 or 3.0.
