Biography. David Boling spent 26 years in the U.S. Army, first as an Infantryman and then as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, before retiring to Rio Rancho, NM where he currently lives with his wife of 23-years and two children.

At NMJJ, we understand a student’s desire to train in a personalized manner, within a safe environment. With the Training Lab, our Jiu Jitsu mats are open for each student to work on any area of Jiu Jitsu they want to further develop.

Our Combatives Training Study Group does not include any live fire or live blades. Various training weapons, impact tools; red/blue guns; knives, are used to complement the open hand, grappling based fighting and weapons retention techniques.

Next Move Jiu Jitsu in Rio Rancho, NM provides a high-level Jiu Jitsu program. Under the direct guidance and supervision of 1st-degree black belt Jason Howells and his leadership team, NMJJ is focused on building confidence, strength, and making a difference in our local communities.

Biography. Yvonne began Jiu Jitsu training under Professor Jason Howells in 2021. She started as a spectator, watching her family train and has now become the first competing mom for Next Move Jiu Jitsu (NMJJ).

Biography. Coach Chris Dibble brings 14+ years of competitive wrestling spanning across the country. In those years he lived and wrestled in: Spokane, Washington (Junior Club Wrestling)

Biography. Jayson began observing Jiu Jitsu from the sidelines, watching his two sons train. It was only a matter of time before that father’s curiosity kicked in and he wanted to try it for himself.
