2021年11月9日 · I have 2 Netherite Ingots now, and I'm wondering what I should upgrade. My armor is all diamond and enchanted, but is about to break, so I don't know if it is worth it to upgrade that. I know there is a way to repair my armor, but I haven't figured that out, and I heard that it could remove my enchantments.

Not only that, but the extra durability netherite gear has is negligible, and it's not significantly faster. Any blocks that were mineable in 8gt are still 8gt to mine, with or without a beacon. Make a netherite axe or sword instead, the extra damage is more useful. It's okay for armor, mostly for the added knockback resistance.

2020年11月24日 · weapon or armor makes the most sense. with tools you are mainly just getting more durability. a diamond pickaxe already has a ton of durability. plus i would rather not wait longer at the XP farm to repair it (it is a wash, but i prefer more shorter trips to the XP farm as opposed to fewer longer trips).

If you’re going to be fighting a lot of mobs/players, then I’d suggest getting netherite gear. If you’re working on a large-scale project, then I’d suggest getting netherite gear. If you want to do it just for the fun of it, then I’d definitely suggest getting netherite gear. If you’re just playing casually, I’d suggest not doing so.

2021年2月28日 · ^ This is wise. The major bonus of Netherite is durability. The armor doesn't prevent anything that diamond won't, but lasts longer. Tools don't mine appreciably faster, but again, last longer. So if you're mining for more Netherite, go with a pick.

So gold has the highest enchantment value in the game (I think.) meaning on average it gets better enchantments than say diamonds when enchanted with an enchanting table. So which one has a higher enchantment value between netherite and diamonds? Should I enchant my diamond armor then upgrade to netherite or upgrade to netherite then enchant?
