M-102 is an east–west state trunkline highway in the US state of Michigan that runs along the northern boundary of Detroit following 8 Mile Road. The highway follows the Michigan Baseline, a part of the land survey of the state, and the roadway is also called Base Line Road in places.

The M102 105 mm howitzer is used in air mobile (helicopter), attack plane, and light infantry operations. The weapon carriage is lightweight welded aluminum, mounted on a variable recoil mechanism.

MDOT is undertaking a feasibility study, also known as an early preliminary engineering (EPE) study, for the I-75/M-102 (8 Mile Road) interchange in the cities of Detroit and Hazel Park. The existing interchange contains aging infrastructure built in 1969.

M-102, 8 Mile Road Eminem may have waxed poetic, but with four lanes in each direction and miles of power lines down the middle, 8 Mile Road is purely functional. Its only symbolism is as the northern boundary of Detroit.
