2022年5月26日 · I told her of my extremities pain caused by, in my opinion and 1 year experience, the use of Lupron. She told me that, according to Mayo data, I was only part of an 11% group complaining of pain due to Lupron usage.

2020年7月7日 · I had high dose Brachytherapy followed by 25 rounds of external beam therapy. I was on Lupron for 2 full years. A shot every 3 months. My last injection was January 30, 2020. I was treated at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa and considered a high risk patient. I had all my labs tested every 3 months. Lupron is effective but I hated the side effects.

2023年7月3日 · Nearing completion of 18 months lupron hormone treatment along with EBR. Side effects so far manageable but intense hot flashes along with severe and deep bone pain are 'pushing the envelope'. Any suggestions on natural based coping stategies. Want to avoid any further drug based treatment if possible.

2024年2月14日 · I had two 3-month injections, the 1st on 14 April 2021; the 2nd (& final) on 9 July 2021. My testosterone went as low as 3.0 ng/dL on 16 September 2021 (PSA down to < 0.008 ng/mL). My testosterone didn’t return to normal until my 25 February 2022 test - about 7 months after that 2nd (& final) 3-month injection.

2023年4月9日 · So I took that Lupron injection shot every 30 days to suppress my ovaries and should of had them removed when I was diagnosed in 2019. Why make us go through so much with toxicity, etc. I firmly believe that ANYONE diagnosed with ER positive breast cancer should have their ovaries removed.

2023年7月14日 · My story is very similar to yours..Stage4 (to start), Lupron, chemo (Docetaxel), and radiation. Twelve months later clear but doc wants me to continue Lupron 2-3 more years if possible. Facing same decision on lifestyle. I have read that monthly injections have less side effects. Am getting switched to those starting with my next dose of Lupron.
