Listos California offers an Emergency Alerts sign-up page to help connect Californians to their local alerts systems based on a provided zip code or location. The resource also explains the meanings of common alerts and identifies social media accounts associated with local government and first responders.

The Listos California Grant Program supports community-based organizations and federally recognized tribes throughout California to ensure every Californian, regardless of age, ability, income or language, has access to culturally competent outreach to prepare for earthquakes, floods, wildfires and other hazards.

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) has launched, Listas, a newly-launched campaign to empower women with emergency resiliency knowledge to put into practice when leading their families in disaster preparedness, response and recovery.

Listos California has several different ways that you can interactively prepare for a disaster. These include a week-long text messaging program, a 20-minute interactive experience, a link to FEMA training, and more.

Fastened at Cal OES, Listos California has already reached nearly 4 million people with low incomes, disabilities and language barriers, older adults, and other highly vulnerable Californians between 2019-2021.
