I tried to send a fax and I got a “line busy/no answer” message. I tried again every fifteen minutes for an hour and it didn’t change. What’s going wrong? There are really two possibilities here. Either your recipient has been furiously sending and receiving faxes for hours on end, or there’s a problem with someone’s fax line.

2024年2月5日 · We have a BT essential Cordless that we have had for almost ayear. Today everytime we attempt to call a number the word 'Busy' is displ;ayed on the screen. We have checked all 4 phones and all appears Ok. we have had other BT users call us on our landline and all Ok. we can call each phone internally.

The voicemail service should be working as normal at the moment so glad to hear its worked again after you tried 1571 again. 07953 22222 is the EE Voicemail number so is a legitimate number, did your voicemail notification text just come from 150?

2023年8月23日 · Firstly, it had not switched over on the date of the email, however 2 days later the analoge line has stopped. The phone has now been plugged into the rear of the router as per instructions, but all I hear is an engaged tone (intermittent tone). It has been like this all day now.

2024年9月2日 · By phone: The automated system defaults to the line one is using to report the fault and insists to try to test it. It then tells the user that the line is busy so it can't test it and then requests the user to phone back when the line isn't busy. Of course it's busy (and it always will be) - it's being used to report the fault!

2024年12月23日 · Now, when they call and the line is busy they hear the phone ringing and then it tells them this is ext 5006 please leave a message after the tone. I have voicemail turned off yet it doesn't make a difference. I know on this site, people with a similar issue have been told to go to Settings>Call Settings> choose single line over multi line.
