2010年7月16日 · Recognize that the LIRR Port Jefferson station is not anywhere near the Port Jefferson ferry terminal. The ferry dock is about 1.2 miles away from the train station. It's a doable walk, and it is downhill, but it's not exactly around the corner.

2006年12月15日 · Re: What LIRR station is closest to Melville? I commuted from Melville for 10 years, and Cold Spring Harbor is the best station. I got there in under 7 minutes by taking Jerhico tpke. 2011年1月21日 · Re: Weekend Parking at Hicksville and Wantagh LIRR stations? You don't need a permit at Wantagh on the weekends, and generally speaking it's easy to park there on the weekends. I don't know how many spots the lot has lost to piles of plowed snow right now.
