Dec 19, 2023 · The KLX300 remains an excellent bike to enter the world of dirt riding and still offers the more advanced rider plenty to enjoy as well. Someday Kawasaki will have to introduce an all-new small dual-sport to replace the current KLX300 and keep up with the competition, but that day is not today.

May 24, 2021 · Kawasaki also says the KLX300 uses a new chassis, based off the KLX300R dirt bike. Um, maybe. It looks a lot like the old steel frame/aluminum swingarm arrangement the KLX250 used, although a few of the dimensions are different (less ground clearance), showing that Kawasaki did indeed tinker with the formula somewhat.

Oct 23, 2016 · 2006-2008 KLX 250 - Almost identical to the KLX300 but 249cc instead of 292cc, a plate, 200 or so watts of power and kickstart. Adds 20 lbs. Approximately 285 lbs wet. 2009-present KLX250 - Almost the same engine but there is a smaller gap between 5th and 6th in the tranny; shorter suspension, improved perhaps on-road not as good off road.

Jan 25, 2022 · It's a weird one for sure. The Honda has the looks (in my opinion) for sure, but the Kawi is close second in the black/army setup. I started reading the KLX300 thread out of interest as I think this is a great buddy bike - good suspension, reliable japanese build, good power delivery and the suspension can handle newb to experienced.

Nov 23, 2020 · KLX300 Fuel Range I bought a new 2021 KLX300, it is stone stock except for Ricochet skid plate and PMS rear rack. 18,000 miles on the clock so far, I love it! At 90-100 miles the fuel light goes on. At the pump (91 octane Ethanol Free) I take 1.4 gallons. That leaves .6 gallons on the reserve, right?
