KLX250 EFI big bore - is there an actual EFI solution?
Mar 19, 2021 · Alright I've been reading tons of threads so far. As the KLX300 is pretty much sold out for the year, I'm looking at a couple 2018+ KLX250's with EFI. I'd want to throw a big bore kit on it - any of the 300/331/351 would do. However, I'm …
KLX250 vs KLX300? What are the main, practical differences?
May 11, 2022 · I just found a 2020 KLX250 camo version - the style I want for the 300 - 1600 miles, one owner, no major issues/problems to speak of - for $4,300 and it's a 6 hour drive for me to pick it up. I plan on face timing and doing more in-depth validation with the owner if needed. The downside is it's not the 300.
Mods for 2019 KLX250 - Dual Sport & Adventure Motorcycling
Oct 4, 2019 · I know there has probably been a ton of posts here about aftermarket for the klx250 but even after all the research I'm still a bit confused. I'm very very new to the bike world. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me the most important things to do and in what order. I would like to have it jetted and a new exhaust.

KLX250 vs TTR250 - KLR/KLX 125/140/230/250/300 - ThumperTalk
Aug 15, 2006 · I think if you are going to buy new then you can't beat the new KLX250S. Got the liquid cooling and USD forks over the TTR and it's street legal. Sounds like you are looking for used so that would price the new for 2006 KLX250S out of contention. The older KLX250/300 are not electric start nor street legal so you will have to make up your mine.
klx 250 thoughts? - KLR/KLX 125/140/230/250/300 - ThumperTalk
May 24, 2016 · i am not familiar with the xr250. the motors for the klx 250's are known for being reliable, but low on power (i geared mine down for a stronger 2nd gear and a usable 3rd), while good trailbikes they are not good for long road trips, but it's fine for city driving and short commutes, the bike does have a (iirc 6th) overdrive gear, and my highest registered speed …
How do you get a KLX 250/300 to Wheelie? - ThumperTalk
Jul 4, 2007 · The only bikes I have owned, that won't lift the front wheel, or out accelerate a standard 6 cylinder family car over the 1/8 mile is my hotted up KLX250/300, a Honda XL100 with a 150 kit and a Kawasaki KE100. To the contrary YZ80's, 125's PE175's, GT250's, RD250's, XL500's etc... all get the front wheel in the air & blow away a standard V8.

KLX250 or KLX300? - KLR/KLX 125/140/230/250/300 - ThumperTalk
Jan 22, 2007 · The klx250 is more street bred, less dirt bred, but it can handle some light dirt riding. The klx300r is a really nice bike for the dirt & with some hop-ups, it can return a lot in the way of fun factor. It also has a huge amount of off-road parts available for it as the Kawasak off-road team even raced a well prepped version of this.
