Kids Community Learning Center (KCLC) is an after-school program located in NW Portland, serving children in grades K-5 from Metropolitan Learning Center, the Emerson School, and Chapman Elementary.

Featured by KSDK as part of Show Me St. Louis, KCLC is committed to Lindenwood’s mission of Real Experience. Real Success. Students are taught advanced techniques and develop the skill sets necessary for success in their field, with experiential learning taking place in the University’s 50,000-watt radio station 89.1 KCLC FM.

We are grateful to be gifted with finishing out our twelfth school year. KCLC is now blessed to have the full continuum of Montessori learning settings from birth through adolescence (0-18 years), and the teaching staff to support those settings.

KCLC (89.1 FM) is a non-commercial radio station.It is licensed to St. Charles, Missouri, and serves the St. Louis metropolitan area.It is owned by Lindenwood University, with students hosting most of the programs.It broadcasts a radio format of adult album alternative music, with other genres also heard.. KCLC is a Class C2 FM station. It has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 50,000 watts.
