KLF5 (E5K6H) Rabbit mAb recognizes endogenous levels of total KLF5 protein. Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Leu140 of human KLF5 protein.

This antibody detects the 50-60 kDa isoform 1 of KLF5. The antibody can recognize isoform 2 (33 kDa) and isoform 3 (18 kDa) too. 85 kDa, 95 kDa and 120 kDa of SUMOylated KLF5 were detected (PMID: 18500350).

KLF5 (Kruppel-like factor 5, IKLF, Basic transcription element-binding protein 2, BTEB2) is a zinc-finger transcription factor that plays a role in cell proliferation, differentiation, cell cycle regulation, angiogenesis, and carcinogenesis and is especially important in epithelial cells.
