Meet Our Legal Team . With nearly 70 years of collective school law experience, the KASB legal team possesses educational law and policy knowledge and expertise to guide KASB LAF members with comprehensive legal services and support.

Safe Schools & Threat Preparedness. KASB is partnering with the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) Safe and Secure Schools Unit, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Kansas Attorney General’s Office and multiple federal agencies to provide regional school safety trainings and educational briefings.

Vision. Setting a vision is not just another way of saying “goal setting” or “long-range planning.” The word comes from the Latin videre, which means “to see,” and a vision for a school district should, in fact, give people another way to see their schools, clearly showing the district not only as it is, but also what it might become.
