2013年5月10日 · Hello all. I've read through the K3B manual and have searched various Linux-affiliated sites including nixcraft.com, this site, tldp.org and a few others. I'm trying to find out how to configure k3b to finalize the disk session once the burn is complete. The CD is a regular CD-R, nothing special about it.

2019年8月9日 · I put the blank DVD in the drive and KDE pops up with: Available Devices > Blank DVD-R > Create file project with K3b. I click on that and it launches K3b. I navigate to the ISO image, select it and click on "Burn Image Directly". That gives me the details on the ISO image and K3b loads it into memory (progress bar). Now the problem.

2021年6月5日 · k3b says it REQUIRES transcode to rip DVDs, therefore it must need it to rip. When checking programs, transcode is the ONLY program missing an entry. It must therefore be missing. I do not care about any other method of ripping CDs. I have tried them, I do not like them, I want k3b to do it, it was the best option for me.

2006年1月9日 · The k3b interface offers "normal copying" and "clone copying" (though both produce .iso files). Having in mind that the master CD to be copied is the installation kit of a program, could you please tell me what copying way to choose?

2012年1月5日 · In Fedora k3b will write to blue-ray as a user if you reset the blank disk permission after insertion. For example: sudo chmod -R 777 /dev/sr0 Mint and Ubuntu have similar work arounds for setting the right permissions for a user level burner to see a writeabe blank disk in k3b.

2019年11月17日 · K3b used to work great for me ripping and burning CDs. Then with doing a clean install of my distro I had to re-install K3b and now it rips fine but won't burn the cd. I went to the settings and could not figure out what they meant by "modify device settings."

2007年2月21日 · using suse 10.2 I burnt several files (actually the solaris 10 os which I want to try) and put them in a file called xxxxx.iso. now I from k3b select burn dvd iso image, check the md5 sum and do the burn...everything seems ok but I can't boot off the dvd...is this me doing something wrong or does k3b have "issues"...please advise this is ...
