It does this for a JY 15 however these can both easily be applied to the JY 14. The material is called SeaDeck and I think it is one of the best additions to make to the boat. I love it.

2018年6月26日 · The leading cause as told was the manufacturer changing the formulation of the plastic sheets without authorization by JY or Hunter. When that happened, those boats being affected did correspond to the lots of material wherein the formulation had been changed without authorization. Both JY and Hunter had filed legal action.

2017年8月22日 · The biggest issue is when the manufacturers changed forumualtion of the ACP materials without any notice to JY and later Hunter (Hunter bought out JY and later moved the company to Florida to a controlled environment) which caused cracking. When that happened, cracks could be seen, many of the boats being repairable.

2000年7月23日 · Happy Birthday, Megan! First off, the Hunter 90, Hunter 140, and JY15 are all made out of a material that is supposed to be 8 times more durable than fiberglass. This is a "plus" to me. I sail a Hunter 140, although mine was made by JY Sailboats.

2011年4月4日 · J Boats first had their JY line of daysailors built by the same method and they had terrible cracking problems. I believe they sold it off to Hunter who expanded on the designs. The whole concept was neat, but the cracks did appear.

2006年7月12日 · I second the use of a Sharpie for the numbers i have used paint and lastly a Sharpie with stencils. The Sharpie is by far the easiest and least messy.

2020年5月26日 · Dyer Dhows are a good platform too. They are easily handled. But, it's a little small for two and a bit too heavy to use as a tender. Puffer looks pretty good but I can't recall ever seeing one on the water. I don't know the minifish. JY 14 are fun to sail and can work for two people but I don't think you could call them "Car top."
