2012年4月9日 · Nice post Daniel, it gives a good perspective on JBL spearguns. I'll add that the new Elite series JBL guns while being a huge leap forward from the low quality "spearguns" JBL sold for many years, I don't like the Kitto mech, don't like the new handle, and don't see the point of the plastic muzzle. The handle is not ergonomic.

2012年4月9日 · The "Carbine" series are single-piece trigger guns which is a very old design, in fact all early band spearguns use single-piece triggers with the "pull down sear lever" types (two-piece mech similar to a spring gun) eventually replacing them in guns such as the Champion "Arbalete" and licensed clones of that gun made in the USA by Voit, US ...

2016年12月23日 · JBL certainly has a manufacturing capability, especially with spears and tips and has injection molding facilities for its gun components that are plastic. Plastic parts are used in some "Magnum" and all of the "Woody" models which use the great "M8" trigger mechanism perfected by Bill Kitto.
JBL Shark Fin Shafts - Spearguns Pole Spears & Slings
2012年5月21日 · a riffe shaft will fit in a old jbl handle but you will have to grind off the last shark fin . the new elites will take any style 5/16" dia shaft ,and a jbl 9/32" shaft . it will also take a abbiller shaft if you cut off the last 1/4" of the tail of the shaft . guy left the top of the mech round so the mech is more versatile to what shafts you can use, and the shafts are much stronger …

2016年12月23日 · JBL may have copied the earlier version, removing its line release lever will give an indication by looking at the lengths of the two prongs at the rear of that lever. The sear lever movement powers the line release opening on this mechanism rather than removing a blocking element.
JBL mini magnum - Spearguns Pole Spears & Slings - Spearfishing …
2014年8月14日 · I tried using the search but came up empty. I apologize if this is already on here. I am looking for opinions on the jbl mini magnum. I found one that is relatively inexpensive and am wondering if it would be ok for a first gun and what inherent problems it might have. From what I have read, JBL is viewed as inferior but im not sure as to why ...
Kitto M-7 trigger mechanism - Spearguns Pole Spears & Slings ...
2010年4月24日 · The revamped JBl´s look indeed improved, but still look a bit odd and heavy compared with other spearguns. Kittos Mechs are strong and well made. I had one rigged in a BW gun that belonged to R. Mullins. (The pics are in a past thread I believe) The mech was overkill IMO. Just too heavy.
Marlin revolution, 105 or 120? - Spearfishing World forum
2013年1月17日 · The JBL boasts almost 8 meters in range and the Revolution "at least 5m", but it (the Revolution) also states it performs like a 120cm gun. That means that either JBL inflates their figures or measure it differently, JBL's gun is very powerful for it's length, or the normal 120cm spearguns the Revolution is compared to are not that powerful.
Reel for a JBL Magnum 48 inch - Spearguns Pole Spears & Slings ...
2012年8月20日 · Sounds cool Hank. Does the 7mm(euro) shaft you put on it have an American square notch? The jbl handles have a squared sear. It may hold a euro shaft temporarily but it's not very safe. Most of the older jbl guns seem to flood even without reel holes, definitely need to …
Choosing a speargun - Spearguns Pole Spears & Slings
2014年1月6日 · I am currently looking at some longer guns like the JBL Magnum , Riffe Padauk Competitor #1S, A.B. Biller 48 Floridian, JBL Elite Sawed-Off Magnum Speargun.....something along these lines.
