The Invoice Processing Platform (IPP), is a secure, Web-based service that more efficiently manages government invoicing from purchase order (PO) through payment notification, at no charge to federal agencies and their vendors.

IPP makes it easier for vendors to do business with the federal government. IPP gives vendors one system to transact with multiple federal agencies and provides greater visibility into all transaction data and documents associated with a purchase order.

How to enroll in IPP. Vendors that are required to submit an invoice through IPP do not need to contact IPP to enroll. Enrollment will be initiated by the agency with which they are doing business.

IPP helps federal agencies avoid Prompt Payment penalties by supporting more efficient invoice processing while automating invoice collection, validation and approval workflows. Vendors manage their receivables more easily using one system to transact with multiple agencies.

IPP makes it easier for vendors to do business with the government. Vendors can replace paper-based processing with digital file exchange for all federal agencies using IPP. Vendors may download purchase orders and remittance files, and upload digital invoices.
