IL4R Gene - GeneCards | IL4RA Protein | IL4RA Antibody
Dec 25, 2024 · IL4R (Interleukin 4 Receptor) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with IL4R include Ige Responsiveness, Atopic and Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1. Among its related pathways are TGF-Beta Pathway and Akt Signaling.
Dual blockade of IL-4 and IL-13 with dupilumab, an IL-4Rα
We sought to provide a comprehensive analysis of the redundant and distinct roles of IL-4 and IL-13 in type 2 inflammation and report dupilumab mechanisms of action. Methods: Using primary cell assays and a mouse model of house dust mite-induced asthma, we compared IL-4 vs IL-13 vs IL-4Rα blockers.
Evolution and function of interleukin-4 receptor signaling in …
Mar 6, 2020 · Interleukin (IL)-4 and IL-13 are well known for their key roles in type 2 immune responses, which result in resistance to helminth parasites and inactivation of toxins.
IL-4Rα signalling in B cells and T cells play differential roles in ...
Jan 4, 2023 · Targeting interleukin 4 receptor alpha (IL-4Rα), an IL-4/IL-13 signalling axis, with dupilumab shows efficacy in AD. We investigated the importance of IL-4Rα signalling specifically on B and...
IL4R interleukin 4 receptor [ Homo sapiens (human) ]
Feb 8, 2025 · Title: IgG memory B cells expressing IL4R and FCER2 are associated with atopic diseases.
The IL-4 receptor: signaling mechanisms and biologic functions
Here we describe our current understanding of the organization of the IL-4 receptor, of the signaling pathways that are induced as a result of receptor occupancy, and of the various mechanisms through which receptor function is modulated.
Targeting IL4/IL4R for the treatment of epithelial cancer metastasis
This article reviews existing therapies targeting IL4, IL4R, or IL4/IL4R signaling, and recent findings guiding the creation of novel therapies that specifically inhibit the type II IL4R, while taking into consideration effects on immune cells within the tumor microenvironment.
3566 - Gene ResultIL4R interleukin 4 receptor [ (human)]
Gene ID: 3566, updated on 8-Feb-2025. This gene encodes the alpha chain of the interleukin-4 receptor, a type I transmembrane protein that can bind interleukin 4 and interleukin 13 to regulate IgE production. The encoded protein also can bind interleukin 4 …
IL4R interleukin 4 receptor - NIH Genetic Testing Registry (GTR)
Feb 8, 2025 · Clinical resource with information about IL4R, A genome-wide association meta-analysis of self-reported allergy identifies shared and allergy-specific susceptibility loci., A genome-wide association study of plasma total IgE concentrations in the Framingham Heart Study., and available tests.
UniProt
The functional IL4 receptor is formed by initial binding of IL4 to IL4R. Subsequent recruitment to the complex of the common gamma chain, in immune cells, creates a type I receptor and, in non-immune cells, of IL13RA1 forms a type II receptor.
