Huh7 - Wikipedia
Huh7 is an immortalised cell line that is grown in the laboratory for research purposes. It is described as a hepatocyte-derived carcinoma cell line, originally taken from a liver tumor in a 57-year-old Japanese male in 1982. [1] It is used extensively in hepatitis C and dengue virus research. [2] [3] Huh7 cells have been instrumental in ...

Cell Culture Information for HuH-7 - HUH-7 Cell Line
HuH-7 Cells should be cultured in DMEM supplemented with 10% FBS. Cells should be grown at 37 °C in a 5% CO2 setting. To subculture: Renew medium 2-3 times a week, or as needed according to media pH, and maintain cell confluency between 30-90%.

Huh-7 Origin - HUH-7 Cell Line
Huh-7 is an immortal cell line composed of epithelial-like, tumorigenic cells. The majority of Huh-7 cells show a chromosome number between 55 and 63 (mode 60) and are highly heterogeneous. These cells are adherent to the surface of flasks or plates and typically grow as 2D monolayers.
HuH7 Cells: An In-Depth Profile of Their Biological Features
2 days ago · HuH7 cells exhibit a complex network of signaling pathways and gene regulatory mechanisms that reflect their hepatic lineage and tumorigenic nature. These pathways regulate proliferation, apoptosis, and metabolic adaptation, making them central to hepatocellular carcinoma research. The PI3K/AKT/mTOR axis is one of the most extensively studied ...
HuH-7 reference genome profile: complex karyotype composed …
HuH-7 is a well-known cell line used as a model for investigating both hepatoma and HCV. Tumor cells acquire genetic alterations during their evolution, which underlie cancer development, progression and drug resistance [8].
Rapid maturation of the hepatic cell line Huh7 via CDK inhibition …
Nov 1, 2019 · Hepatic cell lines, such as Huh7, could provide a cost-effective alternative, however, they express negligible amounts of CYP450s and PXR. In this study, we show that dinaciclib, a potent...

Human cell lines represent a valuable resource as in vitro experimental models. A hepatoma cell line, HuH-7 (JCRB0403), has been used extensively in various research fields and a number of studies using this line have been published continuously since it was established in 1982.
DNMTs inhibitor SGI-1027 induces apoptosis in Huh7 human …
SGI-1027 induces morphological changes in Huh7 cells. In the present study, the apoptotic effects of SGI-1027 were ascertained in Huh7 cells by assessing morphological changes. Subsequent to treatment with different doses of SGI-1027 for 24 h, Huh7 cells were stained with TUNEL.
