2023年6月23日 · After doing some more digging it turn out that without the Lowrance HDS LIVE you can't get all of the features out of the 20. Dual range, "true trails" etc. so I'm just going to go for the HALO 20. I just can't see it making sense for the extra $800. Before I upgrade the MFD I will likely move on to a bigger boat anyways.

2021年9月20日 · I have a Lowrance HDS 12 live, Halo 20+ and Point-1 installed and Navico chart , wanted radar overlay. Lowrance plotter only shows a few rings on overlay but no radar, Spent 3 hours on the phone with customer service 1-2 tier level of support and sent photos of plotter screen and radar screen to Lowrance. They are confused looking for help.

2020年7月9日 · I just sold a boat that had Lowrance Radar 3G on a Gen 1 HDS 7, worked like a champ. I upgrade to a Carbon 16 for a bigger screen split. Going to be installing a Halo 20+ on my new boat later this week, it has a HDS10 Gen 2, so I can let you know how that goes, although I plan on swapping it out for the Carbon 16 as well.

2022年5月19日 · With the B175HW transducer (25 degree cone), at the 150 foot depth, the diameter is around 67 feet. It is more than adequate for rockfishing over a relatively small area. If you drop the bait around a 20 foot boat, you would cover the entire diameter easily. However, if you fish at 500 foot depths, the diameter increases to 222 feet.
