Reviews For: Digital Voice Access Point (DVAP) Dongle - eHam.net
Purchased from HRO Atlanta via Mark KJ4VO in April. It was easy to install, easy to use and is an excellent solution to access to the D-Star world, especially if you don't have any existing RF access to repeaters. It's different but same as the DV-Dongle. With the DV-Dongle, you're tethered to your PC.
Reviews For: RoofTower by Carlson (formerly Glen Martin)
Just Finished Building it and wanted to share my thoughts. I purchased this from HRO Atlanta had Will call Glen Martin to find out about delivery times. They said 2 weeks it showed up in 2 weeks in a box 8 feet long by 8" wide and 3" high. If you helped your children build items from there erector set days this should be familiar.
Reviews For: Ameritron AL-811H - eHam.net
It came from HRO Atlanta double-boxed and was in perfect shape. An actual printed manual was in the box. The amplifier itself looked good in a utilitarian Ameritron/MFJ sort of way, and opening it up (you'll have to take off the cover to install the four tubes and do the 10-meter mod if you want to do that) revealed no construction faux pas.
Reviews For: Ameritron AL-572 (all models) - eHam.net
I just got back from working the 10M contest at a campsite. I hauled the new (HRO Atlanta) AL572 out to the woods and used it all weekend. I first practiced tune up on a dummy load, with the manual at home. It just hummed along on CW for the whole weekend without any problems at all.

Reviews For: Zumspot RPi - eHam.net
Anyway, the Zumspot arrived from the HRO Atlanta store in just a day. I also ordered a case, and when it arrived, I set about installing the Zumspot. It consists of two boards, one is the actual hotspot board running the Pi-Star software that allows it to do its thing. It is plugged into a Raspberry Pi (tiny) single board computer.
Reviews For: Yaesu FT-7100M - eHam.net
HRO Atlanta was unaware of the whole situation surronding the 7100 woes! Once I did the "foot work" and found out about the "yellow dot" there were no questions asked. HRO wanted a serial # series for the revision start, but, aparently (according to the above gentleman) this is on a need to know basis. "The VP is the only one with that ...
Reviews For: Yaesu Quadra VL-1000 - eHam.net
It is a beautiful piece that operates flawlessly and in perfect harmony with my 920. Power output is truly clean on all the bands. I have low power set to 600 and high power set to 1200 give or take a watt. The amplifier has plenty of head room above 1250 but..... Better hold it there. Mine is a sn# 5Ixxx Purchased new from HRO Atlanta in 2005.

I just purchased this mfj 1263 Mic switch from HRO Atlanta, but before I did I called MFJ Technical support to make sure it would do what I wanted it to do, They told me that it would and that that was what it was designed for But after I got the unit I could not get it to work properly and called MFJ Tech support they told me how to configure ...
Reviews For: Icom IC-9700 - eHam.net
I have one of the very first radios shipped by HRO, Atlanta. Recently, I installed a GPSDO from ePay, I also updated the Firmware to the latest level from Icom. Although I doubt I'll ever do EME, I DO know the radio is now locked and on frequency on 1296 down to a CYCLE or two.....
