2023年2月13日 · For mixing I think you should use the HD 650, abs even you are done go back to the the M50x to see if there are any unpleasant harsh sounds. On an old review of the DT 770 pro, someone said every studio needs to have them, they are not the best, have poor soundstage and instrument separation, but this allows them to easily find flaws in mixes.

2019年7月5日 · I've experienced exactly this on a newly produced 650 from the Romanian factory. Or, at least, I think it came from there. Similar frequency response as you've found. They sound disappointing. My leading guess is that they're adhering the silver mesh material differently. The parts still come from Ireland.

2020年8月7日 · HD 650 are the 2nd most expensive headphones I've bought next to IE8s a long time ago (sadly my ex broke one earbud) but I seriously love them. I've had them for at least 5 years now and they still work amazing.

Comfort obviously varies with head shape, ear shape, personal preference, etc.. but compared to the 650's it wasn't even close and I think many people would have a similar reaction. My wife agreed! The 490s just feel wonderful -- almost like wearing nothing at all. This has been mentioned in many reviews but IMO it's not emphasized enough.
