2016年10月10日 · The interesting part of our hunt was that we hunted for 8 days and never saw another hunter in the woods when we were hunting. We did see a few when we were hiking out the trail back to the truck. There were lots of camps in the usual spots from Ukiah to Granite but it seems most of those folks must have been hunting close to the main roads.

2020年3月8日 · Often the country is so rough it is beyond the ability of most horses. The website is for he Granite Mountains in the Mojave Desert preserve. Years back there used to be two horseback deer hunters who regularly did very well there every year. Their horses were absolutely exceptional and had to be. The country was that rough and dangerous.

2006年9月14日 · No problem anywhere around the confluence, from Lower Granite up to a few miles up the Snake. I've run my prop from the confluence up to just past Asotin with no scares. Past that it gets dicey. I did foolishly take a prop boat to Heller Bar and got away with it, but I was so puckered the whole time I gave myself a stomachache.
