2021年11月4日 · Hi all. I have a Lennox gas furnace that isn't turning on when I set the thermostat to heat and kick the temp 10 degrees above the current temperature reading. The thermostat will read "heat on," but the furnace blower never kicks on and the ignitor never starts. Literally nothing happens. The AC and fan both work fine.

2019年5月12日 · Not getting 24v (signal from tstat) at the gas valve. Gas valve solenoid is stuck or broken Gas valve otherwise broken. There are three things needed for a furnace to ignite the gas. Gas on, pilot lit. The thermocouple must sense flame (pilot), and report that to the gas valve, (a milivolt voltage). Without this, the gas valve won't open.

That’s a shaded pole motor, it doesn’t have a capacitor. First, you need to see if you have 24v at the R and W terminals. That’s what is actuating the furnace turning on. If you read 24v to ground on R, and then 0v with one lead on R and the other lead on W then you have a proper call for heating and can continue troubleshooting.

We woke up today and it was 60 in the house while the heat was turned on according to the the Thermostat and set to 74. No schedules or auto-turn off set or anything. I turned it off for about half an hour and turned it back on a few times.

2023年11月11日 · Today the heat stopped turning on. I went to the attic and the furnace just makes a humming sound when it’s trying to fire up. The LED light was blinking red signaling pressure switch stuck open (Goodman brand). I turned off the power, checked the tubing no cracks or obstruction. Turned on power and tried to fire it back up and same thing.
