The Global Historical Climatology Network (GHCN) is a data set of temperature, precipitation and pressure records managed by the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), Arizona State University and the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center. Since 2015 the CHCN is being managed by the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI).

Global Historical Climatology Network - Daily is a dataset from NOAA that contains daily observations over global land areas. It contains station-based measurements from land-based stations worldwide, about two thirds of which are for precipitation measurement only.

The Global Historical Climatology Network (GHCN) monthly precipitation dataset contains historical time series for thousands of land surface stations worldwide.

2024年5月1日 · GHCNh is NCEI’s next generation hourly/synoptic dataset, replacing the Integrated Surface Dataset (ISD), which has been provided since the early 2000s. GHCNh incorporates essentially the same set of data sources as its ISD predecessor plus more than 100 additional data sources.
