Jun 17, 2016 · GG is meant to just mean good game. When you add EZ after it, you are basically saying it sarcastically, which negates the reason most players say gg in the first place. Considering how people even think saying gg nowadays is bm (which is really dumb IMO), adding ez onto that just makes it worse.

And besides, "gg" has evolved a lot from just meaning "good game". People use it in much more varied situations. You get a BiS drop from a dungeon or raid? That's a gg drop right there. You're about to 3 chest that M+ key and servers crash? gg blizz lmao. Language evolves, words are made up things and their meanings often change over time.

of course, I disagree that gg ez should be a bannable offense. but with the younger player base, those people want to get rid of it. I'm more of a 'respond to toxicity with more toxicity' kind of person, but in the end, whether I agree with it or not, the younger gen of gamers are the ones helping companies make a profit.

At that range, sniper bullet drop is non-existent and for the opponent it's just aim and shoot while you're flying towards him in a straight line, so sniper experience isn't even needed much here lol.

No probably not, saying gg after winning a fight you were very likely to win where the opponent had literally no chance is just bring really sarcastic and an asshole, therefore toxic and unnecessary. Probably 80% of dw fights are unconsensual and half of those extremely one sided. It's like gripping a power 3 then saying gg while being max level.

Gg is used to say "good game" as in: "The game was fun and fair and it was a good quality match that fairly tested our skills." gg doesn't mean "Good game for me" as in, you are happy you won. Did people being toxic 24/7 and dropping gg whenever they won really rub off on people so they forgot what the actually fuck gg means?
