I got some Priline TPU in yesterday with a Shore hardness 98A and for the life of me I couldn't get anything to work last night. Benchy kept leaving the print bed and Marvin printed fully but looks like crap, especially the keychain loop.

I designed an attachment to put on my spray grease straw that reduces the splatter when applying it to the threaded rods. I made some TPU washers for a couple various projects, I read they are very durable.

2024年6月25日 · TPU is fairly resistant to typical outdoor weather and conditions, so you could print anything that doesn’t need to be stiff. Such as signs, covers for things. It’s grippy so coasters, drink grips, new handle grips, any kind of grip you want.

2020年9月16日 · There was a test .stl file that came with some printer of an octopus that was pretty neat in TPU (it got popular and was eventually remixed into the octopus that has 5 arms flipping you off) Regular primitive shapes are fun too. I printed several cubes whenever I first started using TPU.

2022年4月8日 · What are some fun prints that can use TPU? I have a roll of Overture TPU in transparent, red, and blue, but to make with them. Granted thus would be my first time using TPU after PETG, so it will be an interesting process to get set up.

Guy on YouTube with 4k subscribers is working on a cheap, universal, mostly 3d-printable pellet extruder, and appears to have solved most of the problems associated with them (including the astronomical cost). This could mean 5x cheaper prints!
