2021年3月11日 · thanks everyone for your responses.....my solution is to have my wife drive the RV compass transit cutaway and i will tow this boat with my f350..... My reasoning is : just because i could do it doesn't mean i should do it. I tow my small aluminum and drift raft trailer fine with the rv....but the kingfisher is a bit of a compact beast.

2018年3月23日 · Besides Thor's specs are suspect- like how they claim a 68 gallon propane tank on the Gemini, that would be the largest RV LP tank on a Class B ever! Just joking as it is obviously a typo- they got it right at 68 LBS on the Compass. BTW I own a Thor Tahoe toy hauler-it is a 99- sure hope they have stepped up their workmanship since then.

So far I'm finding these lift options: VanCompass - 2" lift, retains stock geometry, $350 ; Transit Off-Road - 2" lift, modifies geometry, $1499.99; Campervan-HQ - 2.5" lift, not sure on geometry, $1700 ; I don't see any reason not to go with the VC kit at this price. 2021年3月7日 · Van Compass decided to go a different route for an AWD lift. Coil lift springs and small strut spacers to correct camber. Much more affordable and way easier to install.

2021年8月18日 · Well, I finally bit the bullet and put my deposit on a Qlift at Newberg Ford. Planning for install March 8. Going to go with the Bilstein B6's to get a bit more lift too. Once I get it home, I'll do the VC rear shock relocate. I'm also considering switching out to transit off road adjustable control arms as well. I'll report back on results.
