Faldorn's biggest weakness is the same biggest weakness of some otherwise decent NPCs: Coran, Eldoth and especially Yeslick. Here is Faldorn. Unless you poison the grove you can't hurt her so you will have to let a Druid challenge her instead. If you don't have a Druid in your party, go outside into the Druid Grove where Cernd should be standing at 14 and temporarily add him to your party. Once Faldorn falls you will find Master Verthan here.

Faldorn can reach lvl 5 spells, being a pure druid, so you can wreak havoc with Insect Plague or enjoy some protection with Ironskins. If you have no xp cap and Faldorn can reach lvl 6 spells, her Fire Elementals will demolish every opponent easily in BG1. (save Greater werewolves and Sarevok, maybe)

As soon as the duel began Cernd cast Rigid Thinking on Faldorn followed by Insect Plague. Then I started attacking with the staff (plain wood) that was thrown in the pit for each of the combatants. Just when the insect plague wore off he repeated the casting and managed to break through Faldorn's own ironskin (at least 10 hits with the staff).

Faldorn is ok...her melee is garbage, but she can summon a dread wolf, which is pretty neat. Not as OP as Taix's Ghast, but better in melee then she ever will be, even shifted. I dislike Quayle because of his personality and how late you get him.....well..and combined with the fact he never really gets the chance to become powerful.

2001年1月8日 · cernd, but faldorn casting ability is better than cernd. because he is very slow. i have every tried to attacked her while she is blue and summon animals and cast holy smite while other party members attack with missiles. but she continues to use nature beauty against me which seems to pause battle for a few seconds

Travel to the Druid Grove and find Faldorn's Hut at 15. Before entering, you may want to rearrange your spellbook for a one-on-one battle. Then rest to make sure you're prepared. Make whatever preparations you feel necessary, then enter the hut and speak to Master Verthan. He asks you if anyone is ready to challenge for leadership of the grove.

2003年9月13日 · Faldorn's shapechanging spell had already been used up, so she couldn't change into a great creature, whereas Jaheira still could (she has the brownbear option and the blackbear option!) so when the 2nd fight started, I first made Jaheira grab the Quarterstaff, then immediately shapeshift into a bear, and made her attack Faldorn relentlessly.

The "Faldorn" figure in BG2 should be replaced with another character (essentially the same one, just named differently) And the actual Faldorn should be a playable NPC continuous with the one from BG1, that you bring along into BG2 from the previous game. Enough with the recycling of BG1 characters in BG2. It's the worst part of the game.
