2014年4月8日 · The FA5 will save a bit since it is a sedan instead of a coupe considered "sporty". Either way the FA5 will be more to insure than an EM1. Also as far as the 3rd gear issue if your car is from 06-07 ish 08 ish there is a 3rd gear pop out issue on some FA5's but Honda does have a warranty to replace the Synchro in the tranny!

My ride: 2010 Civic Si (FA5) I bought her last year with only 35k miles for about 15k from the dealership, I was coming from a 2005 RSX that had a built K24 which made about 265 whp. In about 3 months of owning the civic I started my turbo build, failure, & then full engine build.

2017年9月14日 · The FA5 is considered one of the best Civics and is still very cheap to own. Also, 120k is low for an Si. You have a lot of life left in that car and the value should stay where it is for a while.

2019年7月30日 · nice! it provides a nice drop while not making the ride miserable. the bolts that hold the hub/knuckle assembly are annoying to get to but turn the wheel all the way to have more space to tighen/loosen. another tip that I learned is to jack up the rear spring perch when you remove the shock bolt, jacking it up relieves a ton of stress on the lower shock bolt making it …

2020年7月9日 · Howdy y'all. I've got an '09 FA5 with 125k miles and during the 120k service, dealer says my shifting issues (extremely hard to shift at high RPM) are due to clutch getting ready to go. They quoted me at $2k ($1250 labor, $750 parts) just for replacement.
