F800GS: Hyperpro vs Progressive Fork Springs - Adventure Rider
2008年1月18日 · I tried an Ohlins shod f800gs, springs and shock, and I liked it. I'm over 220 and spent about an hour on the bike riding a familiar rough road and afterwards I felt good about adding the springs to mine. They're on order ... Once installed I'll see if the Ohlins shock will be needed. The difference was easy to feel.
Buying advice for a 100,000 mile F800GS? | Adventure Rider
2021年6月25日 · I am considering buying a 2012 BMW F800GS with 100,000miles. This would be my third bike, I currently own a 2009 Versys 650 and before that a 1999 BMW F650. The mileage initially scared me but I want to do more research before I can make a decision.
F800GS: High-fender Options - Adventure Rider
2009年11月15日 · 1. Remove F800GS beak. Install proper fender (black KTM 690 Enduro R). Fabricate some sort of fiberglass filler where the bmw beak used to be so the bike doesn't look so ghetto-fab. 2. Convert to single, left-sided brake caliper. This allows keeping the ABS, makes line routing way easier and lowers unsprung mass. Those calipers are way heavy.
F800GS vs F800GS/A - Adventure Rider
2015年5月14日 · What I'm trying to find out is whether there's any significant difference in the F800GS and F800GS/A particularly in relation to the seat and the fuel tank. I'm looking to increase my fuel tank capacity in the near future. And while I've looked at the camel tanks and Rotopax, fuel bladders, etc. I'd really prefer to keep a stock look.

Power Comander V - F800GS | Adventure Rider
2013年1月16日 · I just bought one for the F800GS and am looking for any other maps that might be out there besides the ones found on the Power COmmander site. My primary goal is an increase in torque although added HP is always nice. I am using my patented "wheelie scale" as the seat of the pants Dyno test. I already dropped one tooth in the counter shaft ...
F800GS - Hyperpro/Lower Suspension - Adventure Rider
I've been riding my 2009 F800GS with BMW "comfort seat" (which is noticeably wider and somewhat higher than stock) for a 3 years now. I'm 176 cm (approx 5'9") and 90 kg (approx 200 lbs) with inseam of 31"-32" (judging from jeans I'm wearing) It is a wonderful bike and I'm very happy with it, but I can't stop wishing it would be bit lower...
F700GS or F800GS or F800GT or F800R | BMW F800 Forum
2013年3月29日 · I had this very dilemma, and my local dealer very patiently let me try the F650GS, F700GS, F800R, F800GS and F800ST/GT, as well as an older R1200GS for good measure, over three days. My riding is mixed commuting with motorway speeds and occasional longer trips, like the OP with no off-road. I'd briefly owned the F800ST before so knew it pretty ...
