West End Beach is a 12 acre day use beach with lifeguard supervised swim on Donner Lake. Amenities include food, boat rentals, picnic sites, tennis/pickleball courts, volleyball, and basketball courts.

This legendary alpine park offers summer camping, picnicking, kayaking, paddle sports, fishing, and hiking. During winter, visitors can cross-country ski, snowshoe on trails, and play in the snow.

There are two main beach areas at the west and east ends of Donner Lake where you can access sandy shores and shallow water. West End Beach on the western end of the lake and Donner Memorial State Park to the east which includes China Cove, a scenic beach with a swimming area, picnic tables, bathrooms, and shaded areas for lounging out of the sun.

Located on the beautiful shores of Donner Lake, this 12-acre day-use beach offers plenty of amenities in a peaceful setting, surrounded by mountains. The beach offers plenty of family-friendly features including playgrounds, picnic benches, a sandy beach with shallow water, and a swim area supervised by American Red Cross Certified Lifeguards.

West End Beach is a 12 acre day use beach facility on Donner Lake in Truckee, California that is owned and maintained by the Truckee Donner Recreation & Park District. It is the largest of the Truckee Beaches .

China Cove Beach is a nice beach area in the China Cove area of Donner Lake within the Donner Memorial State Park, and is one of four Truckee beaches at Donner Lake.

West End Beach on Donner Lake has something for everyone! There is a big sandy beach that wraps around the whole end of the lake, with designated swimming, boating & fishing areas. There is a lifeguard and rentals of paddle boards, sailboats, kayaks, inter tubes etc.

Donner Lake is a gorgeous, calm lake that has beaches for kids, Watersport rentals, and great food nearby. This year it was the warmest I've ever been in, great for swimming. Wonderful for SUP, too, as it's calm.

For Beach Lovers, there are several great Truckee Beaches at Donner Lake to choose from, as well as some nearby Lake Tahoe Beaches. The views are incredible from all of the beaches, and the stress of life rapidly vanishes while hanging out at the beach.
