Denfeld High School serves approximately the western half of the city and has been in existence since 1905. Denfeld has a long tradition of excellence and demonstrates these standards in its classrooms.

If your student is not riding on the district provided transportation either to or from an event, this form needs to be filled out and brought to the athletic offices in Denfeld prior to the event.

The home of the Hunters, Denfeld High School was known as Irving High School when it opened for classes on 11 September 1905. It was later called Duluth Industrial High School.

Principal Tusken has been with the Duluth Public Schools nearly 30 years all of them at Denfeld with the exception of one year at East High School. He spent the majority of his career as a social studies teacher and created the curriculum for the elective course Freshman Seminar.
