DUSP6 Gene - GeneCards | DUS6 Protein | DUS6 Antibody
Dec 24, 2024 · DUSP6 (Dual Specificity Phosphatase 6) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with DUSP6 include Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism 19 With Or Without Anosmia and Normosmic Congenital Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism. Among its related pathways are Toll Like Receptor 7/8 (TLR7/8) Cascade and MAPK family signaling cascades.
Dual-specificity phosphatase 6 (DUSP6): a review of its molecular ...
Dual-specificity phosphatase 6 (DUSP6), a member of the MAPK phosphatase family, interacts with specifically targeted extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 via negative feedback regulation in the MAPK pathway of mammalian cells.
This phosphatase functions in a dual manner, pro-oncogenic or tumor-suppressive, depending on the type of cancer.
Dual specificity phosphatase 6 as a new therapeutic target …
DUSP6 plays a role as a tumor suppressor through dephosphorylation of p38, JNK and ERK (14), which are the major molecules in the MAPK signaling pathway. Activation of ERKs in cancer cells induces DUSP6 transcription, and DUSP6 suppresses MAPK signaling by negative feedback (15).
DUSP6 SUMOylation protects cells from oxidative damage via …
Mar 25, 2020 · Here, we show that dual-specificity phosphatase 6 (DUSP6) dephosphorylates Drp1-S616 independently of its known substrates ERK1/2. DUSP6 keeps Drp1-S616 phosphorylation levels low under normal conditions.
DUSP6 dual specificity phosphatase 6 [ (human)] - National …
DUSP6 regulates radiosensitivity in glioblastoma by modulating the recruitment of phosphorylated DNAPKcs at DNA double-strand breaks. DUSP6 expression is associated with osteoporosis through the regulation of osteoclast differentiation via ERK2/Smad2 signaling.
DUSP6 SUMOylation protects cells from oxidative damage via …
DUSP6 is best known to regulate the Ras-MAPK signaling cascade due to its unusually tight substrate specificity for ERK1/2. To determine how DUSP6 SUMOylation affects its enzymatic activity, we performed the following experiments.
DUSP6 mediates resistance to JAK2 inhibition and drives ... - Nature
Dec 29, 2022 · Pharmacologic dual-specificity phosphatase (DUSP)6 targeting led to inhibition of S6 and Janus kinase (JAK)–signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) signaling while also...
DUSP6 regulates Notch1 signalling in colorectal cancer
Nov 21, 2024 · Here, we show that DUSP6 can function as a phosphatase for Notch1, thereby regulating NTM stability and transcriptional activity, thus influencing colorectal cancer (CRC) development. In human...
Dual specificity phosphatase 6 (DUSP6) is an ETS-regulated …
In the current study, we focus on the assessment of DUSP6, a cytoplasmic DUSP with high specificity for extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK). We demonstrate that DUSP6 expression tracks in tandem with ERK inhibition and that regulation of DUSP6 is mediated at the promoter level by ETS1, a well-known nuclear target of activated ERK.
