I *think* the only difference between a standard and NM Colt barrel is that the ones with the best accuracy when fired in fixtures during proof testing get selected as NM barrels.

2011年2月18日 · I hear all sorts of things, read all sorts of things about 1911 steel quality - forged, cast, blah blah blah. It seems a lot of people think a good casting is as good as a forged gun. However, I keep hearing about grades of steel. I went with a Colt (still waiting on it) and even though I am in Canada, and could get a Norinco 1911 pretty cheap.

2003年5月10日 · Welcome. A 1991 IS a 1911. The 1991 was introduced in the year 1991, hence the name, as a budget 45 from Colt. It had a parkarized then latter matte blue finish and picked up the serial no. range where Colt left off after the last ones made during WWII.
