2012年8月25日 · When the war started there was all kinds fancy uniforms but as the war drug on thinks changed a LOT. Here is the uniform of Lt Mims Walker Canebrake Guard 4th Alabama AVC. He was a private when the war started and was assigned as a courier got Col Law. When Law became Gen he promoted Mims to LT ADC. This uniform was made sometime in early 1864.
