CD22 - Wikipedia
CD22 is a sugar binding transmembrane protein, which specifically binds sialic acid with an immunoglobulin (Ig) domain located at its N-terminus. The presence of Ig domains makes CD22 a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD22 functions as an inhibitory receptor for B cell receptor (BCR) signaling.
Targeting CD22 for the Treatment of B-Cell Malignancies - PMC
2021年7月21日 · CD22 presents an attractive target in lymphoid neoplasms given its unique presence in B-lymphocytes. Due to its role in regulating B-cell function, CD22 has also been targeted in autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and Sjogren syndrome.
CD22 - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics
CD22 is a member of the immunoglobulin gene super-family. It is involved in the regulation of expression of surface IgM on B cells. Cytoplasmic CD22 is expressed at the earliest stages of B-cell differentiation, along with CD19 and is present prior to the expression of CD20.

2018年9月27日 · CD22 (Siglec 2) is a receptor predominantly restricted to B cells. It was initially characterized over 30 years ago and named “CD22” in 1984 at the 2nd International workshop in Boston (1). Several excellent reviews have detailed CD22 functions, CD22-regulated signaling pathways and B cell subsets regulated by CD22 or Siglec G (2 – 4).

2024年12月24日 · CD22 (CD22 Molecule) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CD22 include Hematologic Cancer and Trichomoniasis. Among its related pathways are Antigen activates B Cell Receptor (BCR) leading to generation of second messengers and Regulation of activated PAK-2p34 by proteasome mediated degradation.
Definition of CD22 positive - NCI Dictionary of Cancer Terms
Describes cells that have a protein called CD22 on their surface. CD22 is found mostly on B cells (a type of white blood cell) and controls many important cell functions, including cell signaling, cell adhesion, cell growth, and cell survival. CD22 is also found on many B-cell leukemia and lymphoma cells.
