2008年7月24日 · After several months with it I am very much pleased. So much so I I bought a Boss Katana 100 gen 2 standard and for Christmas my wife bought me a Katana Gen 3. I changed speakers in those as well. My main take-away is, they are very good amplifiers and can sound and perform very well with pedal steel. I do not try comparing them to my tube amps.

I've never been an amp guy in my 50 plus years of playing acoustic bluegrass, old country and folk on guitar, banjo and dobro but took up PSG just recently (Justice Pro-Lite 3x5). 1998年11月29日 · I had the opportunity to speak with John about the amp mentioning to him that I was looking for something to replace my “Peavey Nashville 112. I love my Nashville 112 but my ailing back sometimes wants a little relief when I am playing too much. The Boss Katana MK100 is now my second go to amp after speaking with John about settings etc.

2005年1月5日 · I have a Boss Katana and it has a Volume Knob and a Master Volume knob. I searched the forum and only go more confused as to settings, purpose of the master etc, but no clarity. 1. What is the difference/purpose of the Master volume vs the volume. 2. What do different settings/combinations get me. Apologize for the dumb question.

2000年1月23日 · Dennis, I have the Katana 100 watt single 12 amp. With a usb cable and the Katana app I was able to dial in a better tone using more parametric eq on the mids and bass. The speaker is capable of doing good tone but you need the app or your laptop and Boss software. Then save your settings and make music. You can also swap effects and save as well.

2018年2月21日 · The Boss Katana does have a line out so if you want to record into the Focusrite you would be all set to go. I do this with my Boss Katana amp with good results. The USB on the Boss Katana is for modifying patches and settings for the amp. It is not for recording.

2017年4月22日 · Got my hands on an BOSS Katana 100watt amp with 12" speaker. Seeing if I can milk any good steel guitar tones out of it. Maybe it can be an alternative light weight giging amp. We'll see. Here are several sound samples for the amp. I get better bass response by putting the amp on the floor and cocked back a bit vs. in a chair.
