She said she didn't do anything with her account to create this prompt. Is this a legit query? There seem to be conflicting reports here and on Reddit about the veracity of this email purportedly from Apple.

2021年4月3日 · Is this legit? I called "1-800-MY-APPLE" and gave them the order number in the text and they said they couldn't find an order with that. Please help. Please define "legit". Those are legitimate texts from Apple. I get these kinds of things on a regular basis, sometimes from Apple, sometimes from other companies.

2024年12月20日 · I updated my iPhone right before it got stuck on SOS mode. I got that fixed so I can now use my phone. But all the texts I send to other iPhone users shows up green and either says SMS or RCS My iMessage is turned on.

2024年12月8日 · Hi, I recently upgraded to an iphone 14 and in going through the settings I thought I had a handle on RCS messaging and saw no reason to turn it off at first. But I started to notice that I wasn't getting any texts at all until I turned on my wifi. Yes RCS uses wifi or data but when wifi was off no SMS texts came through either.
