A-Reece released his debut studio album, Paradise (2016) which produced the singles, "Couldn't" and "Mgani". [1] After disputes with management of the label, A-Reece left Ambitiouz to become an independent artist late 2016. [2] In 2017, A-Reece collaborated with his friends and producer Mashbeatz to establish The Wrecking Crew.
