4ZZZ are Queensland’s longest running FM radio station. As a not-for-profit community broadcaster, we have been reliably pumping out alternative music, news and culture since we began as the official student radio at the University of Queensland in 1975.

4ZZZ has been providing independent news and current affairs since its inception in 1975. The newsroom is entirely volunteer based and provides Zedlines bulletins on the hour each weekday from 8-11AM, plus a dedicated one hour news and current-affairs program, Brisbane Line, from 12-1PM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The board of 4ZZZ provide governance and represents the membership of the organisation. The Board provides leadership and overall strategy for the organisation as well as ensuring that the station's finances are sound, its operations are legal, and its procedures work.
