Mar 29, 2010 · The ERL 4B11 Stroker Kit is an economical way to obtain a large displacement Mitsubishi 4B11. The Stroker kit can be purchased with stock 86.5mm pistons producing 2.3L of displacement or with oversized 90mm pistons producing 2.5L of displacement. The 4B11 has a stock stroke of only 86mm, ERL increases this by 11mm to 97mm.

May 27, 2023 · The 4b11 is not the same as the 4 b11 t. The 4b11 internals are not strong enough to handle a evo x turbo. You will bend the rods fairly quickly with much boost. I believe from what ive read that the 4b11 has higher compression on stroke while evo x has the lower compression engine for turbo.

Mar 20, 2010 · The 4b11 is strong not invincible but very strong. Stock internals are tuff and can handle lots of boost and power reliably as long as you maintain the engine oil changes etc it can last a long time even modified.

Aug 26, 2012 · 4b11 is not that great of a design. For what ever reason it runs significantly hotter than a 4g63. Stock frame turbos are death on these motors if you do any long pulls. I would be suprised to see a 4b11 over 500 whp survive a 5th gear pull to red line. egt testing shows 3rd gear pulls well over 1600 degrees.
