If it doesn't show up right click Start to open Disk Management, scroll down to find the drive by size and type, if indicated initialize or format it, or right click to assign a letter.

2024年12月11日 · Most of my USB connection have stopped working, and the USB don't show anywhere within Windows Device Manager or File Manager since the 24H2 installation. However, the USB port will charge the external device. I cannot roll back to any earlier version and the recovery option is no longer available. The USB drivers are up to date as is Windows 11.

However, I urgently need to access these files. The Mac is no longer available, and I had to wipe its contents before parting with the MacBook.

My newly-purchased USB floppy disk drive does not appear in Windows Explorer BUT, if you type A: in the search bar, there it is! In Device Manager look under the heading "Floppy Disk drives" to see the automatically-inserted driver for your FDD.
