In 2011 I started off on 2*50/1000 Janumet a day. The Januvia was the first deleted and the Metformin was later reduced to 2*500mg a day. Since 2017 I have been receiving chemo for initially Stage 3 NSCLC which in 2019 was classed as Stage 4 though it had never metastisised to a distant organ.

When I picked them up at the pharmacy last evening the pharmacist wasn't there, but I noticed the sticker on the bottle mentioned to avoid alcohol with this particular med. Now, to start off I am nowhere near an alcoholic.

2008年6月11日 · Despite round 2 with another doc who isn't quite a fit, I do have questiosn about his recommendation to switch to Janumet. I have to pay full price on meds until I reach my insanely high deductible for my high deductible health plan, so I am questioning whether its worth it -- I pay $12.99 a month for metformin, and janumet would be $185 a month.

2010年9月7日 · Not sure the Janumet made any difference regarding weight loss for me, but then I didn't have a lot to lose. Supposedly it curbs the appetite a little but I noticed no difference in that. I've heard that another drug, Victoza, works a little better at appetite control and Dr. Bernstein recommends it to cure the "munchies".

Januvia prolongs the stimulation of insulin production at mealtimes. The combination of these two effects is lower blood glucose levels, especially after meals.
